Sebastian at the church of rock.

The rock-plex is a really odd name for the place we are currently using as our base, Which is right next to the rock church, at the priory street center. The Filming had been going on all week, and i was here yesterday, and again today to take part in the most important sections of the project. Seeing the photo's from the progression of the campaign on the blog, gives me massive confidence in the skills everyone involved. The experiences of the carers taking part, and dedicating their spare time are very important to making this s success. Just as important is the professional skills and experience of the leaders who have kept us focused yet upbeat. We have pulled together and pushed hard to get everything done, and each person deserves to give themselves a round of applause in my opinion! Saying that, it's not quite all there yet, we have the editing to come and then the hard slog of getting it out there to the people who will make a difference to us young carers. We have the film, we have the posters, but do we have the influence? It'll be interesting to see if we can make a genuine difference to how young carers are both perceived and treated. But i know this week's work will be worth it, because we have made an effort and got the ingredients for a brilliant 10 minute short.
