The Revolution Crew were also joined by a special guest from City of York Council's Childrens Trust Unit.
Bernie Flanagan is a manager at the Children's Trust Unit and joined the group to hear their ideas and to lend his support to the group's Mediabox Funding bid.
“Every year we have a conference in York called no wrong doors, we bring together lots of people who work with children and young people and talk about various issues. We would love young carers to get involved with our next conference. Having heard you talk about challenging stereotypes and making sure that schools, health visitors and nurses know about the needs of young carers, it’s something they really need to hear. When the message comes from young people like yourselves - you put it so well.”
“If you won the funding and produced a film we would love to share it at the conference.”
