Today we started by feeding back some of the things we talked about last time. We talked about participatory design-this is how we are going to create or logo- we also talked about feed back from the council,the deputy director of childrens services was very interested and would like to come and participate in one of our sesions. He has been very supportive and has offered us the chance to take part in the 'no wrong doors confrence' in june 2010. Then CJ talked us through what a media campaign might look like he then showed us some examples of previous campaigns- The designs were very good and the short film was very effective in portrying its ideas. From seeing these ideas I now have some good ideas for our own project. Then CJ asked our opinions about the disadvantages of being a young carer and how we could create some more positive images of young carers and finally how the project will help you carers engage with the wider community! I think it is going really well so far and finger crossed we get the funding, I am very excited about doing the planning for the logo next week.
